Past Projects
Anusaran with the passion and commitment to support and serve the underprivileged community started programs to provide basic education and opportunity to be self sufficient to women and children without making any difference in cast or creed in 2003. Anusaran started with the project in rehabilitate colony and then started in two poor villages. In all these three schools - three Women Empowerment programs were also started to provide opportunity to deprived women to continue their studies, get basic education, learn vocational skills and be confident and self sufficient.

There were around 16 children attending daily the school in the rehabilitate colony. They were taught basic education, education about health and hygiene, games and about Musical Instruments. With all these, the children and women were getting regular health check ups by the volunteers having medical background.

There were around 70 children attending the village' school. Around 50 women were attending the two village schools learning - stitching, embroidery, income generation, entrepreneurship, physical exercises, basic yoga, dance, health tips, cooking, beauty tips etc. We organized regular recreation activities for them. Anusaran is committed to provide safe & healthy environment for women to nurture their natural talents they are unaware about.
  • Procured the school in a poor village (Chanchal Park) at the extreme west of Delhi. The school building initially was build by the owner as a poultry farm. The school building was renovated & now used for Non-formal school for poor children & to run the Women Empowerment Programmes.
Old Building Anusaran Now (Village School)
  • Organized medical checkups for the women and children in both schools. Women from the surrounding area came with their children for checkups too.
  • Conducted Drawing competitions and educational programmes on healthy and hygienic living.
  • One more similar program doing Non - formal education for deprived women and children and Women Empowerment Programme was started in a poor village in Punjab (a state in North India).
  • A cultural programme was organized on the occasion of Independence Day on 15th August, 2005 in the village school.
  • Five women are now regular staff of Anusaran who are the beneficiaries of Anusaran. Three are teaching stitching, embroidery etc. to the fellow women. Two women have taken the responsibility to teach the class of younger kids.
  • Ten girls got the opportunity to restart their education. They got enrolled for their formal education through National Open School. Girls can now study at Anusaran and give their final exam in the centre, which will be declared by the government.
  • Anusaran is sponsoring young talented and deserving children from poor families for their formal education. The sponsorship money is $150 per year or $12.5 per month which facilitates the children with total educational fees, books, stationary, uniforms for summer and winter, school bags etc. for whole one academic year.
  • Young women are making beautiful wall hangings, cushion covers, bed sheets, stunning scarves, tops all are very beautifully hand embroided.
Those well wishers, who want to support Women Empowerment Programmes and so to boost up the confidence of young women, can send us their orders. We will make all the arrangements to dispatch.

We at Anusaran are very thankful and grateful to all our partners and well wishers who by their valuable support and encouragement made the mission to take place in reality and to boost it further.
